Jesse Heywood (Don Knotts) is the wet-behind-the-ears dentist who leaves the East to build a practice on the frontier. Along the way he hooks up with reforming outlaw Penelope Cushings (Barbara Rhoades). The story has many parrallels to Son of Paleface, where Bob Hope is the fish-out-of-water dentist and Jane Russell is the hotshot. In both movies, it is the woman who saves the dentists hide. Fans of Don Knotts will not be disappointed with his efforts here...
